We at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering always try to improve the teaching learning process to ultimately develop the institute as a centre of excellence with international standards. The college support Ph.D. scholars, research activities, project proposals and writing research papers for national and international journals and conferences. The research focus has been on multidisciplinary approach to problem solving in following fields: Value-added services in Communication Systems, Tsunami: Sustainable Built Environment, Image Processing, Nano Technology, Application of IT to problems in energy, environment, Embedded Systems, VLSI Technology.
“EDUcation through SATellite” is expected to transform the concept of “Brick University” to “Click University”. Advanced softwares like IE3D for EM Simulations, MATLAB for Digital Signal Processing, TANNER EDA tools for VLSI Design & QualNet for Mobile Computing enable the students to have their hands on the advanced research tools for their future research work both in educational & in industrial fields.
Various activities like LCD presentation, Group Discussions, Case Studies, Lab Innovations, Student chapters (IEEE, ISTE, CodCeff, Google Developer Group), Entrepreneurship Program, Placement oriented Seminar and Talks, have led to a symbiotic relationship of our curriculum with the industry for placements & other interactions. Project based learning approach at BVCOE has given a new meaning to the learning process for budding engineers. We provide world class facilities to our students like WIFI enable campus, all classes and labs are air-conditioned, CCTV surveillance, 24 hours Power backup etc.
The faculty is highly motivated & competent. We have 15 Ph.D. & 80 M.Tech. degree holders in teaching staff and other 19 faculty members are pursuing their Ph.D degrees. Distinguished persons from diversified fields of technology have also been inducted in the faculty. Every Department is enriched with Professors, Associate Professors and Assistant Professors having experience in Teaching, Research & Industry.
